e-Consultant is a web-based system within the iDEALS solutions which will allow certified professional such as town planner,engineer,architect,surveyor and architect landscape to register as the authorised consultant prior submitting the development application for approval. Among the information needed are the consultant's name,address,contact number,professional registration number etc.Consultants who have not register will not be allowed to access the iDEALS's e-submission system thus cannot submit their development applications to the local government. The benefits using e-Consultant are: consultants can register their particulars online easily at any place,anytime; consultant able to update the information easily; the local government able to monitor the authenticity of the consultants; report for list of registered consultants can be generated easily; able to ensure only certified and authorised consultant can submit the development applications; become a directory where public can search for the consultant that they need.
